The DAMEIP (Data and Metadata to Implement Peer Review) research project, funded by the University of Florence for the years 2025–2026, will be carried out by an interdisciplinary team with expertise in library and information science as well as sociology. The project aims to examine the dynamics and practices of peer review in journals published by Florence University Press (FUP). With full respect for privacy and ethical considerations, it seeks to identify and analyze recurring patterns, procedures, quantitative indicators, and timelines of the peer review process, with particular attention to gender differences.
