Innovazione e sostenibilità delle infrastrutture verdi: una riflessione giuridica

The aim of this contribution is to examine the interconnection between the legal instrument of partnership, particularly the Partnership for Innovation, and green infrastructures, specifically focusing on their economic and financial sustainability. Green infrastructures, comprising a network of natural and semi-natural elements, play a crucial role in providing essential ecosystem services to enhance the quality of life in both urban and rural areas. The Partnership for Innovation contributes to ensuring and enhancing innovation and sustainable development in cities through strategic collaboration among public entities, private actors, and local communities. This synergy plays a paramount role in directing joint efforts towards the planning, implementation, and management of green infrastructures. The strategic importance of the Partnership for Innovation, this research aims to provide a legal framework for this instrument, aimed at facilitating synergy among public entities, private entities, and local communities in the creation and expansion of green infrastructures. Furthermore, it aims to highlight the significance of this connection and collaboration in achieving the goal of sustainable development in its various facets – environmental, economic, and socio-cultural – in promoting the well-being of urban and rural communities.
