The Arab poet Ahmad Fu'ad Negm's protestverses have encouraged civil society in time of distress and supported the protest movement non only in Egypt but all over the world among the Egyptian diaspora. Most of his poems were sung by the blind egyptian Shaykh Imam and the cassette with these song were spread all over the world. The paper offers an anlaysis of Negm's satyre of the political national and international policies.
