Abstract
Italian stock exchange does not play a relevant role in the national economy. To go public has not been, in fact, a very popular decision for Italian companies for a number of reasons including a cultural resistance of national entrepreneurs, the large diffusion of family businesses, the small and medium size of companies, etc. Only a small number of companies go public despite the commitment of the national stock exchange to favor their access to the financial market. Even in the three years here investigated, only 51 companies decided to go public. Prospettiva di analisi comparata| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
