Abstract
The Journal of Management and Governance has prompted a debate among researchers to enhance our understanding about how boards actually work and how their behavior might be improved. While the real world is changing dramatically due to the present financial crisis, attention on governance structures is increasing and a call for new research coincides with this Special Issue. It seems widely acknowledged that major part of the literature on boards of directors has been quite uniform in terms of theories, research questions and settings.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
