Ibn Daniyal's Shadow Theatre present in his second play an interesting panorama of street performers describing in verses their abilities. It is a rich presentation of the different actors and their products taking part to the Mamluk festivals. At the same time it is a parody of the decadent social scene in the Cairo market at the end of the Abbasid caliphate.
